The 100th Day of School
The Last Day of Skating
This was our last day of skating. The children had a lot of fun practicing the art of sliding on ice with two steel blades attached to their feet. Whoever came up with that idea must have been crazy!!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… the first thing to learn in skating is how to fall. After that it’s easy! The adults in the photo are some of our fearless volunteers. I am eternally thankful to them for being there for their kids and helping with the laces. Cheers.
Grade One is the grade where children begin to lose their baby teeth. I don’t have a very large window of opportunity to get photos of these events before adult teeth replace the gaps. I love capturing the children’s toothless grins on camera.
Our 2nd Time of Skating
There were lots of spills, and lots of smiles.
Lots of, “Hey! I can do it!”, and “This ain’t so bad”.
Nothing but fun!
